I don’t hear anyone in the media talking about the problem in the United States that is on the line in this year’s elections. This election is not about the 99% vs the 1%...this election is about all of us coming together to fix the out-of-whack and unsustainable BALANCE OF POWER in this country. The federal government is broken. It’s not functioning. The government doesn’t address the needs or the wants of the people of the United States. The government can’t pass any gun safety regulations in a country where we have a mass shooting every day. We can’t fix a crumbling infrastructure that we all rely on, and the economy of tomorrow relies on. We can’t do a decent job taking care of our veterans. We can’t keep our food and water safe. We can’t aggressively tackle climate change even though every year is hotter and hotter by wider and wider margins. Whatever you think of Hillary’s qualifications to be president, or Donald’s qualifications, neither of them are prepared to do what must be done to get this country back on track: ending the corrupt campaign finance system. Bernie Sanders has been saying it for over 30 years. This is a do or die election, folks. Restoring democracy (actually, it’s more accurate to say ‘living up to the idea of democracy for the first time), restoring government for the People, and protecting life on planet Earth should not be partisan issues. Too much power is concentrated in the top fraction of 1%, and it is a death sentence the the entire system if we don’t fix this now. Money is power in paper form. Give me Bernie, or give me death.
